Every so often we like to post a Q&A with an outstanding RevMob team member and share their background with our readers so you get to know the great people working hard for you behind the scenes.
Please see what Matheus Santos, Business Manager for EMEA, has to say about a variety of topics below.
What is your name and title?
Matheus Santos. I’m a Business Manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at RevMob.
How long have you been at RevMob?
I’ve been at RevMob almost a year now.
What do you do for the company?
I basically look over our business for the EMEA region. I keep track of all our advertising campaigns there and figure out ways to bring the best eCPM to our publishers.
Why do you like most about working at RevMob?
It’s full of outstanding people. It’s a fast-paced environment and I get to work with something I love, technology.
Where is your hometown?
I lived most of my life in a little town called Ouro Fino in Brazil. It’s surrounded by nature, so that was cool.
What one detail from your background would surprise people?
Some people would be surprised by the fact that I had really long hair once. I wanted to be a rock star!
What is your favorite mobile game?
I’ve been playing a lot of Sonic Dash. It’s pretty cool!
What is your favorite mobile app and why?
WhatsApp is definitely my most-used application, but I don’t think I have a favorite.
What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
I’m an artist wannabe, so I’m into music a lot. I play a few instruments, but mostly guitar. I love to draw and read. And of course I play a bunch of video games!
What is your favorite movie and/or book? Why?
My favorite book is Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda. I like to believe it made me a better person.
What’s your favorite food? Why?
I love burgers and I love cooking them. It’s just a very balanced meal. It has carbs, protein, some fat and vegetables… I like to fool myself like that.
Favorite band/artist? Why?
That’s a tough one. Rush, Led Zeppelin, Paul Gilbert, Black Sabbath… and maybe the Spice Girls!
Favorite travel spot? Why?
I would say the Grand Canyon. It was spectacular! It was a dream of mine as a kid to go there. It makes you realize how little you are. Your problems seem irrelevant when you’re surrounded by such a vast and powerful rock landscape.
What celebrity do people think you look like?
… I don’t think I look like any. Maybe I looked like Captain Caveman when I had long hair!
